Choice Education does not provide on-campus accommodation. However, there are several off-campus housing options available that can suit different budgets and lifestyle preferences for international students.

Rental

Renting or ‘leasing’ a house or apartment can be preferable if you would like to live alone or with friends. However you will need to pay a bond upfront which is usually four weeks of rent, this is to cover any damage that may happen to the property. Rent listings are provided on these websites:

What you can do In student visa

The Student visa which is subclass 500 visa allows you to live, work and study in Australia for a maximum of five years, in line with your course.Immigration provides you the visa depends on the duration of your course.

On student visa, you are normally allowed to work a maximum of 20 hours per week during the term time and you can work unlimited hours during study breaks.

However, the Australian Government temporarily allows students in all sectors to work beyond the normal limit of 40 hours per two weeks during the semester. Currently, students can start work after arriving in Australia without having to wait for the course to begin.
